A partnership making a BIG difference

Corporate Partnership

At Ickle Pickles Children's Charity, our mission is simple: to give every newborn a chance. We are incredibly grateful to have found a partner in Central Medical Supplies (CMS), whose generosity and commitment to making a difference have already begun to impact our cause significantly.

CMS's Generous Support

Since forming a charitable partnership with us earlier this year, CMS has donated over £3,450, a contribution that speaks volumes about their dedication to social responsibility. This substantial donation comes from CMS's initiative to gift 5% of sales from their Kanmed BabyBed, Kanmed Twin BabyBed, and Kanmed Baby Warmer to our charity. These products play a crucial role in neonatal care, and we are thrilled that their sales are contributing to our efforts to equip neonatal units with vital equipment.

Beyond Donations: Raising Awareness and More

CMS's support extends beyond financial contributions. They are actively involved in raising awareness and engaging in fundraising activities, such as a rugby match bucket shake and employee participation in a 10K run at Alton Towers theme park. Such activities not only help raise funds but also bring attention to the challenges faced by premature and sick babies and the critical importance of neonatal care.

Making a Difference Together

As a specialist supplier in developmental care and neonatal products, CMS understands the unique needs of the smallest patients. Their support empowers us to continue our work, providing essential equipment to neonatal units across England and Wales. Since 2009, with the help of generous partners like CMS, Ickle Pickles has raised over £3.5 million, enabling us to support over 50 neonatal units and transport services.

Words of Gratitude

Commenting on the Ickle Pickles donation and partnership, Sarah Ward, Brand and Product Manager at Central Medical Supplies, says: “We’re pleased to be supporting Ickle Pickles and helping neonatal nurses provide the best possible care for the fragile babies they are looking after.” Rachael Marsh, Co-founder and Trustee of Ickle Pickles, says: “The amazing donation from Central Medical Supplies will be used to provide neonatal units with the vital equipment they need, to assist clinical teams in treating premature babies and helping them survive and thrive.”

About the Kanmed Baby Products

The Kanmed BabyBed, a key product from CMS, is an innovative solution for caring for newborns and premature babies, featuring unique design elements like push-down side walls and electrical height adjustment. When combined with the Kanmed Baby Warmer, it creates an optimal warming system that encourages parental involvement and effective caregiving. This combination is not only clinically effective but also cost-efficient, allowing hospitals to extend their care to more infants.

Looking Forward

We are excited about the future of our partnership with CMS and the continued positive impact we can have on neonatal care together. To learn more about the Kanmed products or the partnership, you can contact Tracey Pavier-Grant, Sales & Marketing Director at CMS, at [email protected] or visit their website.

Once again, a heartfelt thank you, Central Medical Supplies, for your incredible support and for believing in our mission. Together, we are making a significant difference in the lives of tiny miracles every day.
