Waitrose Donations

QA Hospital
We were fortunate enough to be chosen by Waitrose for their green token scheme back in January.

Ickle Pickles share of the tokens was just over £400. This was spent on a variety of wish list items for QA Hospital and included: 8 pink single duvet sets, 8 blue single duvet sets, 8 single white fitted sheets, ink cartridges and with the remaining money cereal bars and biscuits in various flavours and types, teabags, jars of coffee and hot chocolate sachets.

All of these items help to support the parents whilst in the NICU feel more comfortable, allowing the parent rooms to be less clinical and more comfortable whilst everything else around them is ‘hospital’.

Hilary (Waitrose),  her daughter and grandson (an Ickle Pickle himself, now a thriving 6month old) delivered these items to the Neonatal unit.
