St. George’s Hospital, Tooting

St George's holds a very special place in the charity's heart as this is where Charlie was born at 28 weeks and 2 days (the inspiration for the charity).

Some of our first charitable purchases were for this unit that cared for Charlie in his first 3 months of life. These range from Phototherapy Machines to Height Adjustable Cots,  Breast Pumps to Saturation Monitors and Incubators to a Resuscitaire (our most recent purchase) – the list is long!

Current Appeal:

We have an ongoing Appeal running for the unit at St George's - aiming to meet their needs as they arise. Not always possible but we do our best!

Level 3 unit: Deliveries of babies less than 27 weeks & in need of intensive care

Number of cots: 39

Babies treated per annum: Up to 600
