Ickle Pickles’ cyclists raise £4300

Fundraising

Congratulations to our six incredible RideLondon cyclists. Together, Team Ickle Pickles raised £4300  to give every newborn a chance.

The world's greatest festival of cycling had an amazing atmosphere on a very sunny Sunday, the 28th of May. We received some wonderful feedback from Omar that we love and simply have to share:

“I wanted to reach out and express my heartfelt gratitude to you and your incredible charity. This Sunday I had the privilege of participating in the 100-mile Cycle London race, riding in honour of my beautiful niece, Charlotte, who was born prematurely. Words cannot fully convey the depth of my appreciation and our entire family during that challenging time for the care and support you provided to Charlotte.

Pedalling through the bustling streets of London to Essex and back, I carried with me the profound gratitude and admiration we feel for Ickle Pickles. Your unwavering dedication to ensuring the best possible care for premature babies, the provision of specialised equipment, and the support given to families like ours is nothing short of extraordinary.”

We are proud to provide families like Omar’s the opportunity to raise funds for the specific neonatal unit that treated their Ickle Pickle. In the UK, we are the only charity to raise funds to donate intensive care equipment to a neonatal unit of your choice. Since 2009, with your help, we have raised over £3 million for intensive and special care equipment.

Without you, we could not help vulnerable babies at such a critical time in their lives. Thank you to Omar, Sam, Anthony, Sally, Jan and Matt! It is not too late to donate to thank them for their achievement.

We hope all our fantastic charity riders have had a chance to rest up since the weekend. Whilst the RideLondon might be over for another year, many Ickle Pickles events are taking place this summer.
