Be A NeoHero

Was your baby cared for in a neonatal unit? Are you interested in supporting families experiencing similar challenges? You can help by raising funds and awareness for the unit where your baby received care, giving back to your community.

What Is A Neohero?

Our NeoHeroes are often parents or family members of children who have been treated in a neonatal unit. They are dedicated to supporting their local neonatal unit through various activities like fundraising, hosting coffee mornings, or promoting the unit’s excellent work.

Some units have teams of NeoHeroes who all contribute to strengthening the relationship between the charity, patients and the clinical team.

Everyone can be a NeoHero

Here are some examples of what you could be doing as NeoHero:

Host a Coffee Morning: Organise social gatherings for families who have experienced neonatal care.

Collaborate with neonatal staff: Work with clinical and nursing staff to identify urgently needed equipment.

Manage our noticeboard on the unit: Keep our information board updated with charity information, fundraising events, and volunteering opportunities.
