Epsom General Hospital
Our relationship with Epsom started in 2022 in unison with St Helier. We presented an Ignition Grant for 6 Breast Pumps and Carry Bags to enable Mums to express their milk at home. As a result of some fundraising events and challenges we have also purchased a Reclining Chair for Kangaroo care cuddles and donated another 2 Fixed base Reclining Chairs which were gifted from a supplier.
Current Appeal:
The Neonatal team at Epsom have requested a Carum Double Electric Breast Pumps for use on the unit. This Pump will help Mums to express their milk when their baby is either too small or too poorly to attempt breastfeeding.
Being given the equipment to help keep breast milk flowing is crucial to many Mums eager to provide their own milk for their baby so the purchase of these pumps is key to helping them achieve these goals.
The progress of the Appeal is shown below and a photo of the equipment can be seen on the right.
