The neonatal unit at QA was one of the first units we supported when the charity was established in 2009.

To date we have raised over £500,000 for this Level 3 unit and continue to be contacted regularly by interested parents.

We have purchased over 350 pieces of equipment which range from ventilators to breast pumps, reclining chairs for kangaroo care to privacy screens for breastfeeding and televisions for the parent rooms.

Stories

Could you share your story to raise awareness of the neonatal journey? If you’re ready to share your experience on Ickle Pickles’ website, consider our prompts to craft the unique story of your Ickle Pickle.

Current Appeals

We are actively working with the neonatal team to prioritise their wish list items. Though it’s not always possible, we strive to meet their needs as they arise. Support their ongoing needs and choose this neonatal unit to contribute. Join us in our ongoing fundraising efforts and help us provide the best care possible. Every donation counts!

Current NeoHero

Would you or someone you know like to volunteer as a NeoHero and support your local neonatal unit? Ickle Pickles’ NeoHeroes support NICU parents, fundraise and contribute to the relationship between the charity and their neonatal unit.

You can help parents with a newborn or baby in neonatal intensive care at one of Ickle Pickles’ coffee mornings, get involved with fundraising events or raise awareness of prematurity.

Get in touch at info@icklepickles.org if you think you could be a NeoHero.
