The Southampton & Oxfordshire Neonatal Transfer team (SONeT) urgently require a Cerebral Function Monitor in their ambulance to help monitor babies’ brain function during a transfer. The CFM monitors the electrical activity of the brain and is used by connecting electrodes to the baby’s head. Signals are then transferred to the monitor for analysis.1
