The Board of Trustees

There are 4 trustees of the Ickle Pickle partnership:

Andrew Marsh – Chair
Andrew has 15 years experience consulting into and managing companies in the IT, Telecoms and New Media industries. Andrew brings Strategic vision and Operational drive to the charity and as the father of Charlie has personal experience of the unique stresses that a premature birth places on a family

Rachael Marsh
Rachael has 15 years experience in consulting and project delivery in the IT and Training industries, Rachael is the voice of the Ickle Pickles, equally comfortable engaging groups of 10 to auditoriums of 200.

As the mother to Charlie, Rachael has experienced the emotional rollercoaster associated with premature birth and has a fierce determination to help other “Ickle Pickles”.

Michael Black
While he wasn't technically a premature baby, Michael came into the world weighing only 4lbs 4oz and knows what it is like to start life in an incubator. He qualified as a lawyer in his native New Zealand in 1991 and moved to London in 1995 where he remains to this day. He is presently a partner at a large City law firm specialising in banking and finance. In his spare time he has somehow managed to acquire four sons and, most importantly, is Charlie's godfather.

Dr Nigel Kennea
Dr Nigel Kennea is a Consultant Neonatologist at St. George’s Hospital, London. He qualified from medical school at the University of Cambridge in 1992, and has subsequently completed a PhD at Imperial College. His clinical work includes coordinating the acute management and longer-term follow up of infants on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) including infants with complex medical and surgical problems.

Dr. Kennea's research interests have included neonatal infection and inflammation, neonatal brain imaging and work into infection control strategies in the neonatal setting.
